RSS Feeds: What Are They?
RSS simply stands for Really Simpe Syndication which in plain English means a protocol for sharing web content in a standardized way. It is a super simple tool for traffic generation.
Why Use RSS?
The answer here is two-fold and depends on what you are trying to achieve. One way of using RSS is to build websites with automatically up-dating and changing content.
By plugging in a couple of RSS feeds to your site you can get fresh content on autopilot. You can even use a simple script to insert your affiliate links into the RSS feed and so add a cash income stream. The RSS Content Builder is a simple piece of software designed exactly for this type of job.
Another way to make use of RSS is to spread your content far and wide. By having an RSS feed for your site you can deliver all your content automatically across a wide range of other web sites.
If you are using WordPress you will already have an RSS feed, it is part of WP. Find it by adding ‘/feed/’ to your domain name.
If you have a static website you do not have to miss out, you can find several RSS feed generators on line. Try this one, FeedMarklet.com, it’s very easy to use and you can add any page from your browser into the feed.
How To Use RSS Feed.
This part of the article is aimed at affiliate web masters. To generate traffic to your site you need backlinks, plain and simple. An RSS feed is a great way of generating massive backlinks.
Simply by submitting your RSS feed to a few feed aggregators you can be gaining handfuls of targetted backlinks to each post that you make. Backlinks means traffic!
Submit RSS Feed For Traffic And Backlinks.
Here are a couple of RSS aggregators to get you started, there are loads of them and their rules vary a little, some you need to sign up for and some require you to link back to them.
FeedAgg.com
Feedage.com
This is a simply huge thing and believe it or not the majority of marketers are missing it. Don’t be one of them.
One final tip from me: Do you use article marketing? Do you use EzineArticles? Have you submitted your author RSS feed to the aggregators?
If you answered yes, yes, NO! you are missing out. Go to one of your own articles and click on your name at the top, you will be taken to your author page and right next to your name is a little RSS icon, right click and copy link location. This is an RSS feed for your articles.
Submit it to the RSS directories, each feed will generate links back to your articles, links mean visitors and more importantly, ranking juice. The more links there are to your articles, the more important Google thinks they are, juice is directed to the articles which in turn link to your site, more juice to your money pages!
Don’t be dumb, be a smartie come to the RSS party. Use RSS
for traffic generation and you will be one step ahead of the crowd.
Did you find this interesting?

Is PLR a good thing or bad? It is one of those things that really divides the affiliates but in essence it can be a real time saver if used correctly.
First, what is PLR? PLR or Private Label Rights are one of the affiliates best friends. It is a licence to adapt, edit and generally change the content and claim it as your own. Take care to read the licence as sometimes additional conditions apply.
PLR is a tool like any other and it needs to be handled in the right way. It must be viewd as just that, a tool. If you buy a bunch of PLR articles and just throw it up without the proper consideration it will definitely harm your site.
In order to make PLR work you will need to edit it and change it around to make it unique. Consider this, if you have aquired some PLR then there will be other affiliates who have also got exactly the same stuff, if you do not change it at all, as many marketers don’t, you could have exactly the same content as hundreds or thousands of other sites.
This duplicate content will do you no good what so ever and in fact could do damage to your site. So a quick ten minute change around is definitely worth the time.
Lets say you have a PLR article, the first and most important change is the title. It should take ten seconds to come up with a new, original title which will instantly make your article different.
I like to load up most articles into Textpad, grab a keyword and use the ‘Replace all’ function to automatically change them to something different but similar. If your artcle is based on a keyword like, ‘womens high heels’ I change it to ‘ladies stilettos’
Google knows these terms are related but you have now made your article more unique.
After these two very simple changes I will take each paragraph, one by one and re-write them in my own words. Believe me this takes minutes and at the end you will have an article which is totally your own and unique to your site.
A good idea is to simply add or subtract some parts, it takes only a couple of minutes to grab some more content and insert it into your article. So, for my high heels site, I would pop a keyword into Google and browse the results for some extra info that I can rewrite and add to my original.
One PLR article can be turned into five ten or even more pieces inside an hour or so and you can submit them to different article directories which will give you links back to your site thus increasing traffic.
When submitting you articles to the article sites remember to also change your resource box around too. It is not good practice to suddenly a hundred links appearing around the net all saying the same thing.
Use different but related keywords as your anchor text and Google will not penalise you for unnatural linking. So in my example above I would use anchor text such as:
High Heeled Shoes
High Heels
Stiletto Heels
Ladies High Heels
This will look completely normal to the spiders and therefore the links will have a better chance of being indexed and therefore be useful to your site.

On one of the forums that I use a new member posed a simple question.
How do I build backlinks?
There ensued a flurry of answers and opinions on the best way of building backlinks, do this, do that, don’t do the other!
Everyone and his dog had an opinion of what software to use, whether it was better to comment on blogs or write articles for the directories.
It gradually became clear that the newbie had in fact asked the wrong question. The question he should have asked was:
How do I construct a backlink?
We sometimes forget that the things that are so easy to most of us are still a mystery to be unravelled by the new comers to the scene of affiliate marketing.
So, for anyone too shy to put their hand up and ask here is the method of constructing a backlink. A backlink is actually ‘Anchor Text’ Anchor text is the actual words that when clicked take you to a certain web page or another site, the most common one is Click Here If you right click and choose view source you can actually see how this link is made.
The backlink is made up of HTML tags like <a> and between the tags is the value for where the link will head for and the actual text that is clickable.
So you have:
<a Denotes an anchor
href= Denotes a hyperlink
“website” The destination
>Clickable Text< What it says
</a> Closes the tag.
This is a full example of a backlink:

As you can see any text can be inserted between the >< tags and this should be the keyword anchor that you need for your site. I hope this makes it easier for you to get your backlinks constructed correctly.

This is a new tool called Deep Link Engine that is designed for getting automatic backlinks to your posts. It’s a free plugin for self hosted wordpress blogs, that is blogs for which you own the domain name, that uses the tags to go out and find related blog posts so that you can use the ping back function to try and get some deep links back to your own blog.
Deep Link Engine is brought to you by Alex Goad, Brian Johnson and Jared Croslow, three names that will be familiar to anyone who is serious about wordpress. They say:
For each post you create Deep Link Engine will analyze the content of your post, determine 5-10 keywords, then go out and find relevant blogs related to those keywords. Once it is done finding blogs, you select which blogs you would like to link to.
By linking to these other blogs we send a “pingback” notifying their blog’s software that we referrenced them on our website. Leading to deep relevant links to all our blog posts. Over time this will greatly enhance your ranking power for internal pages. The best part is easy.
Deep Link Engine for wordpress is really “push button” link building at it’s finest, and you get access to it absolutely free. This is our way of saying thanks for be our subscriber.
Yes, you have to subscribe but for a tool that can save you this much work it’s worth it. Check out Deep Link Engine

Free website traffic, who needs it? After all if no-one visits your site , so what?
This is the impression I am getting from you guys, tell me I’m wrong, please!
This is a little rant, I have mentioned free website traffic before and looking through the stats I fully expected to see a fairly good click through to the FreeTrafficSystem website, its free, it can get you more traffic to your website and it’s free! But, no, it seems you all have too much traffic already and don’t need anymore, well, that’s fine and dandy.
For those of us who want to get more visitors the FreeTrafficSystem is a boon. I have already said that I use the Best Spinner for pumping out a mass of articles that I can export into the FreeTrafficSystem but perhaps I didn’t make it quite clear as to how I do it so here is a little run through.
Assuming you have an article, or a piece of PLR that is niche focused, or in fact one you have had written for you for a few quid, how can you make it pay?
I spend around £10 per article at Textbroker, that gets me a good piece of writing that I do not have to put right or correct the grammar etc. Now that £10 will probably pay for itself in a couple of months but I am impatient, its a fault I know, so to get my moneys worth I throw it into the Best Spinner, spin it and export it as a text file in the [spin] | [/spin] format.
Now, this text file gets pasted into the FreeTrafficSystem, I fetch the blogs I want to post to and over the next couple of weeks my one article gets sent out to 30 blogs. Those thirty blogs each give me at least two backlinks in the anchor text of my choosing, thats 60 SEO’d backlinks for twenty minutes work!
Now you may not have the budget yet for the BestSpinner but I know you have it for the FreeTrafficSystem so I want to see some clicks guys, its your business were talking about and if you want to make money online backlinks are your business.
